Like keys to an almost rented space.
Give them shelf
Rather than floor space
And honor them
By, at least, reading the spine,
Rather than stacking dreams
Of completion
On you nightstand.
The books,
Like relationships,
Deserve a category
In your library:
Reading is fundamental.
